We made it to Rio last night! This morning Damon´s high school friend Jesse pointed us in the direction of Corcovado and we got to check out some awesome views of the city. Unfortunately our computer cord was misplaced during our US travels but to give you an idea of the size of the Christ the Redeemer statue and the view it has over the city, go here.

Just found the link to your blog on the Cowe’s blog. The photos are superb especially the top banner. Thanks for the tips about Costa Rica; we’re headed off travelling next weekend and then heading back to Blighty in the summer. Maybe we’ll see you with Glyn and Jo’s new addition someday.
