Holiday Clip

December 27, 2007

The camera still needs to be sent to Canon to be serviced, so unfortunately I don’t have any Christmas pics to post. A new favorite past time when we get together with friends and family is showing each other You Tube Clips.  This one has some holiday cheer so I thought I’d share.  My favorite part is after 2:00.

Outside

December 20, 2007

Outside magazine just did an article on my grad school adviser, Chris Newhall. Unfortunately the article isn’t available on-line- but it is on news stands now and makes for good airplane reading. It was cool to read about the places Chris took the article’s author- mostly because they were field sites that I got to visit with Chris during my time in grad school, and earlier this year when Damon and I went to visit Chris and Glen.

It’s Beginning to Feel A Lot Like Christmas…

December 16, 2007

The holiday season is upon us (as is the end of the semester).  We have managed to sneak in a couple more days up at Alta.  A shot from the lift earlier today:

Last weekend we went with Summer, Adam, Abigail, and Eli to see the Christmas Lights at Temple Square:

Hope that you and yours are having a happy holiday season!

Snow!

December 3, 2007

Another winter storm came through on Saturday dumping 7 inches at Sugar House Park and about 6 inches up in the mountains.  Our camera has decided that it no longer wants to meter light resulting in overexposed images- so these are from my camera phone.

We decided that with all the snow Sunday should be a ski day.  So we headed up to Alta for the 3rd day of skiing in one week!
