Our good friend Kristen noticed that we had neglected to put anything on our About page. With a few minor edits, here’s how Kristen describes us:

damon is a 7 foot tall american dude. he’s quiet and funny and he’s read most any book you care to mention. he can eat A LOT. he went to princeton, and he likes wearing t-shirts.

sarah is a 4 foot small human cyclone. she’s energetic and loud and there’s no telling quite what she might try next. she also went to princeton, where she participated in as many societies, clubs and sororities as there are hours in the day, yet never missed a party or failed a class.

sarah and damon met at ngee ann polytechnic in singapore in 1998, and steadfastly refused to admit they were dating for at least 9 months.

after traversing the world back to the us, spending a year teaching maths at an international school in switzerland, and battling their way through graduate degrees at university of washington, they finally decided to get married in 2006. the wedding was held in princeton. it was fab.

now, 6 months after the wedding, they are finally embarking on their honeymoon, which is being documented via weblog to make everyone they know (and some people they don’t know) as green with envy as possible, and possibly to try to inspire some of these people to pick up and join them in one of their adventures. if you have the opportunity to do this, i highly recommend it. the albatoths are great people. no, really.
