2007: Merry New Year!

The end of 2007 is upon us… so we thought we’d take a moment to reflect on the year. Our friends Mach and Michelle taught us a game a few New Year’s ago that we have likely inflicted on you… high low:

2007 Highs

-Traveling (including starting 2007 off in Boracay; trips around the Philippines: Sagada, Batanes, and Bicol, Laos, Rio de Janeiro, NH, CA, RI, Market Harborough, Ljubljana, Croatia, New Harmony, and Maine)

-Damon getting a post-doc at Utah

-Sarah passing her professional engineers exam

2007 Lows

-Sarah studying for her professional engineers exam

-Being far away from family (but fortunately with friends) when Damon’s grandma passed away in April

-Almost losing our luggage at the Lao-Thai border
